I don't know where the time went today, and it doesn't seem like I got much painting done, but I was in my studio all day. Granted, some of it was spent straightening up, reading ( about art), cleaning my palettes, and sorting through some jewelry things.
So, on the right is the first in my blue and purple series. It's not finished yet, but it has three coats of gold and other coats of glazes and other colors. Finally I got smart and moved my blow dryer into the studio to speed up the drying time. I'll finish this tomorrow and post it.
The one on the left was an experiment with various paints. It's very delicate and iridescent in person.
