A Confession

OK. I have to tell the truth. I find flowers to be the most boring things to paint in the world. I love looking at them, but really, I prefer faces.

Hola Deborah.
I think that you love everything around you.
Draw it with freedom and as you feel in your art.
Precious !.A kiss.

Hola Deborah.
Pienso que amas todo lo que te rodea.
PĂntalo con libertad y como lo sientas en tu arte.
¡¡ Precioso !! .Un beso.

Heehee. I like what the prior reviewers said about aliveness and freedom. Flowers are like that. Would that we could feel like that as we paint them. :)

Ah but Deborah flowers are faces. It's my life's purpose to pick up for the lowly flower every chance I get.

Seriously, we are all so different in what interests us as subject matter. Isn't that a good thing.

No confession necessary! I feel that way about fruit, but really, the challenge is not to represent these things exactly, but to make a compelling image. I love the design of your poppy pieces...
