Here is my painting for Karin Jurick's Different Strokes From Different Folks.
It has been sitting here waiting for me to finish it while I organized my studio, which I did. Yeah! Now I have lots of bins and baskets with various stuff in them. I hope I remember where I put everything.

It looks great Deborah! His portrait of you is very nice as well!
Absolutely fabulous congrats! I love the way you rendered his eyes.
Really nice job, Deborah!
This painting developed and ended beautifully. I was wondering what you would do to finish and really like the way the background was handled. Good luck with the bins and boxes. After moving a year and a half ago I still can't find my old cameras and I need those lenses. sigh! If I don't see it...well you know.
This is terrific! I really like the contrast between the cool aqua hues and the rich gold tones.
YEs I love the color contrast too and the way you finished his face and eyes are great.

It’s me ….Thanks Deborah, you did a great job!! I know you did not have the best pic to work from nice sculpting on the head
Very nice Deborah. Great blog too!
Great use of color Deborah, nice job!
I like the colours in this. Very nice portrait.
This is fabulous! His gaze is pretty engaging and you've successfully captured that! Nice use of color as well!
Bravo Deb this is a beautiful portrait and I especially love his face and the colors you chose! Excellent!!!
I'm a bit late posting this. But I love your comment where you said that you hope you remember where you put everything, because that sounds just like me!
I clean everything up, pack it away into its own little boxes/drawers/cupboards/compartments, then forget where I put everything and make a mess all over again while I'm trying to find it all! Must learn, must learn...
