Help! I've gotten sucked into the internet! It seems that when I check my email ( an
entirely necessary thing to do, don't you agree?) all of a sudden I realize that I've been reading blogs and checking artists' sites for, well.....I hate to say this, but......for
hours!! And then I realize that my good intentions, to paint and paint for the entire day, have flown out the window. Just gone. Bye bye good intentions. Well, I'd better go. You know, to paint.

Hi Deborah! Thanks for visiting and your kind comments! I really like what you have going on your blog :)
I also have found it is SO easy to spend way longer than I planned "visiting" other blogs and commenting. Its good to do, but is so hard to be disciplined!
You asked about my blue kitten. It is actually done - just a monochromatic painting, rather than an underpainting.
Oh me, oh my, I sure know how THAT goes. I always intend on cleaning the house or studying some Japanese, but I spend way too much time jumping around on the internet. It's both a blessing and a curse, isn't it? I've tried to limit my time, but after joining IF and looking at everyone else's work, it's terribly difficult.
Your latest works are really fantastic. I love the play of light on the Splat piece! And the big flowers look really regal on the chair. Can't wait to see when that one's finished.
Now stop reading this and get painting!
I "try" to give the internet only 2 hours per day. One hour for emails and one for posting. I am still on dial-up so its a tricky balance. I'm upgrading to satellite in October and boy am I READY!
Thanks Deborah... I lost track of more days than I can count on the internet. Your blog looks great!I was reading some of the posts...I don't even know you and your an inspiration!! Keep it up..there's nothing better than evolving in all aspects of ours lives.. been there .. still doing it :) !!
Deborah, take comfort from the fact that you are not alone. I have this very same problem....just can't help myself! lol

Indeed, you are not alone - have the same problem, even with trimming some of the list - still hours before getting to what I REALLY ought to be doing, my art....[sigh]
but - the comfort is, there IS rendering done, and as can work any of the hours [or,to put it the other way, sleep any of the other hours], there is progress every day.......
Oh, you;re playing my tune. The side effect of blogging is cruising the blogs and that really eats up time. Guilty pleasures....
