There has been no work posted because I've been trying to straighten out my studio. Yesterday and today I spent hours in there, and I can tell you.....my cats have been
seriously offended that I moved their scratching box. Well, hmmmpf!!
It's very frustrating to try to do the things that would be so easy if I could stand up and walk. Several times I've just about fallen out of my chair when I was reaching for things, but because of past experiences, I know how far I can reach. I think, with the help of my cleaning ladies tomorrow, I'll have everything in a more user friendly place.
While I've been doing nothing, I've been lurking around some cool art sites. Geesh. Hours can pass before I realize what has happened. It's just so riveting to read about other artists and see their work. I've discovered two very creative and different artists, well, actually, they are kind of like each other in their drawings. But you just have to see them!
The first is
Jen Stark, and she has done some mind boggling things with construction paper, and look at her drawings, too. I just love them. Watch the video at the top of her page.
The other artist is named
Yellena. Her drawings are almost other worldly. Her shapes are sometimes organic, sometimes just unbelievable! Evidently she has gotten lots of attention. I think she is an fulltime illustrator.
