My plan is to do a body of work based on my life experiences, so I won't be explaining any of it. Only I will know what each painting represents. Well, maybe I'll tell you a little, and maybe some things will be evident.....and maybe some things will be interpreted through your experiences and have nothing to do with me. If that happens, then I'll know I've achieved more than I set out to do.
Now I have to get back to my studio to start the second one while this dries awhile.

Ooh good start. You go girl!!! Can't wait to see more of the story :)
I'm so glad you're back to painting! This looks like a very interesting start.
I like your remark about the viewer interpreting the work apart from the artist. I, too, think that is the thing to be desired. Once I've done it, it is out there for someone else to respond to and what it meant to me takes a back seat.
Looking forward to your futureposts. Happy creating1
Oh, Uta and Elizabeth, what would I do without your encouragement? Thank you for sticking around even while I frittered away my time with the polymer. Now I feel like I'm home....you know, with a brush in my hand.
Deborah!
I like the pattern created by the doilies. Maybe if the circular shape wasn't so obvious you'd like it better?
