Finished!

My work is finished for the show and I feel so relieved! Phew! But  there is still another one in the works that I'd like to substitute for the bluejays. I'm not happy with the way that turned out.
And, of course, there is still the wire to attach and papers to fill out and one last coat of varnish for two of them. Did I ever mention that I'm a procrastinator??

I'd be so grateful for any comments you would like to leave. And please! Be honest, don't worry about being nice, ok? Thank you my friends. What would I do without you?

They look wonderful, Deb!!! Congrats on the show. I think some of us just work better under a deadline. (at least that's what I tell myself). Great work!

Deborah I have to disagree with you. The bluejays is my favourite!!! I think the reason you don't like it is its different from the others. The others kind of fit in a series and the bluejays is one on its own. Great job! I'm very proud of you :)

Love the red-winged blackbird!
If you did choose to do anything to the bluejays, adding a horizontal, like in the blackbird and the robin, would be all I would do.

Rally like the series!

Thank you, my friends. Birds have really been on my mind!
Liz, you're right...a deadline is the only thing that gets me moving.
Uta, I wanted to talk to you about your suggestion for the bluejays, but I couldn''t call Australia. When are you going to move down the street from me?
Hi Leslie, thanks...the blackbird is my favorite, too.

I really like these paintings. There is a special feeling to them. I love birds and you have made them unique. I agree with Uta the bluejays are great. Good Luck on your show. It's a lot of work but look what you have done. Good for you. Jeanne

Hi Deb,
These are really great. I like the design/graphic feel to them. I am really drawn to bird paintings... I don't always go for paintings involving animals ( and I love animals), but these are really appealing. I can also see them in a smaller format... maybe 12x12. Congrats on the show!

I don't have to be nice to say how much I like these wonderful images.
The collage/illustrative-like quality appeals to me.
Congrats on the featured artist spot on Top Artists' Directory. I also submitted my blog and put up a link on my blog.

Fabulous, I love them all, but especially the red one, I can't stop looking at it! You have inspired me to get more graphic!

I like these. A twist on the traditional Audubon-type renderings. I really like the red winged black bird.
