I Give Thanks

Even though it's not still Thanksgiving, I am giving thanks today, as I do every day. Ever since my life was almost stolen from me five years ago, I give thanks quite often. I am thankful for my life, that I'm still here to make art whenever I choose. I am so thankful for my three children, who make a huge difference in my life. I'm so thankful for my three sisters who have done more for me than I can ever do for them. I'm thankful for my close friends, Felicia, Kim, Laura, Debbie, Ilse, Robbi, and my oldest friends, from high school, Patti and Patty. I'm thankful for the company of my two little buddies, my cats. I'm so glad I have a comfortable little house, hot showers, my art studio and a part time job. I could go on and on, but that's about it except for this, my blog and my blogging friends. Thank you for being there for me.

I keep a gratitude journal so I can list all the things I have been grateful for in the day. It's amazing the things we usually take for granted and how, being thankful daily, can really change your perspective.

A lovely pic of your sons. :)

Thank you, my friends. Isn't it amazing that we have all touched each others' lives?

Thanks Deb for the trip down memory lane with the photo of the boys. You have touched so many lives through your profession as an educator and through your talent as an artist and through your inner beauty as a dear, patient, caring human being and friend to many.
